GROWING A YOUNG CRU

From the foothills of the Pyrenees and the Massif Central to the shores of the Mediterranean, the Languedoc region continues its viticultural vocation. It offers a mosaic of vineyards and a large collection of specific grape varieties and distinctive wines which all bear the stamp of southern wines. These wines are grouped in the regional appellation of the AOC Languedoc. The CIVL (Interprofessional Committee of the Languedoc wines) is federating the AOP wines (apellations of controlled origin) of the Languedoc: still wines, sparkling wines and natural sweet wines.

Amongst this diversity of vineyards, the Corbières-Boutenac apellation, recognized since 2005, distinguished itself by reaching the top of the Languedoc wines ranking. Thanks to this official recognition, it has become one of the key qualitative references of the Languedoc.
